The Asveora Framework is a composed of two XML files that give Asveorans the foundation for constructing an Asveoran site. The foundation can be used to build user profiles, wheelcore cores, landhubs, and other types of web structures. The framework is recommneded for those who want all of the model components pre-configured together but want to have the freedom to put in their own design blocks and content.

Asveora Local Data Names are a collection of essential files and folders which have been made for new Asveorans who are looking for a pre-configured template for building a user profile and a pre-configured file tree structure for storing user data such as blogs, themes, buttons, and more. This is only recommended to Asveorans who want to dive straight into building an user profile with some preset design blocks and content.

Asveora Model Components are modules of code that make up the Asveora framework. It is simply the Asveora framework split into separate distinct regions that can be downloaded individually. These components were made in case an user accidentally corrupted a part of the framework file and does not want to have to replace the entire framework and risk losing all of their coded additions or comb through the framework looking for the curruption painstakingly. The model components are also used to update the framework in-between releases. If you are just starting out with Asveora, it is advised that you download the complete framework rather than try to build it from scratch with the model components as it leaves more room for error if you do not know what you are doing.

The Asveora network (also colloquially known as the "Asveoraverse") is made up of two different layers. The outer layer, known as "Outer Space" serves as the lithosphere of the network. It is the network's surface where web apps such as landhubs, profile spaces, community plazas, featured content pages, blogs, wheelcores, etc. can be found via an internet search engine. The inner layer, known as "Inner Space" serves as the network's mantle and core. It is composed of chat clients and protocols (such as Matrix, Revolt, Conduit, Tox, XMPP, IRC, Signal, etc.) which handle all of the real time communication and connections of the network. Outer Space web apps such as landhubs, wheelcores, profile spaces, etc. have Inner Space counterparts that they work together with to bring Asveora to life.
All Asveorans are advised to disable the identity server option on their
matrix account in the general settings to avoid being discovered by [public]
matrix. Public discoverability on matrix can be problematic since, despite
being moderated, anonymous trolls and bad actors regularly abuse the power
of decentralization to make themselves a nuisance.
It is
FORBIDDEN to use your Asveora matrix account to explore the world
of [public] matrix as it may make you and other Asveorans vulnerable to
malicious figures. Instead if you would like to explore [public] matrix and
contact those outside of the Asveora network, sign up for a matrix account
that is entirely unassociated with your Asveora presence. If you do run into
trouble on matrix with your Asveora account or accidentally find yourself in
the public ends of matrix, immediately request in Asveora to generate a new
APC (Asveora Profile Code) and seek support with the problem.
Once
an Asveoran has been verified through the matrix communication protocol (see
join
for more details) they are free to use other communication protocols such as
XMPP, IRC (Internet Relay Chat for those who roll Old-School), WebRTC (this
is what Discord runs on), etc. Below is a list of communication protocols
that can be used for hosting group chats, forum hubs, community spaces, and
other communication structures.

A Content Management System (CMS) is local computer software or an online
service that grants an user the ability to manage the creation and
modification of digital content. There are Content Management Systems
dedicated to different types of content such as videos, images, music,
websites, and more. Website Content Management Systems can make the process
of building websites much easier and it is advised that you become familiar
with one in addition to learning how to do web coding from scratch. File
Hosting (FH) services do just what the name implies. They host files on the
web. These are important for obtaining direct links to media content that
some CMS do not store natively. For example, Blogger does not allow for
users to directly upload MP3 files.
Below is a list of suggested
website CMS and file hosting services in order from the most beginner
friendly / least expensive to the most advanced / most expensive based on
learning curves, features, and complexity. Levels are represented on a scale
of five stars. Blogger is the recommended choice for those who want to get a
handle on web coding from the ground up while having a WYSIWYG (What You See
Is What You Get) reference. It is not advised to solely rely on the features
of WYSIWYG editors as knowing how to work with HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, etc. is
essential for working with or making more complex web objects. Remember that
CMS are for building sites and FH are for storing files on the web.

The Asveora Government is a mixed democracy composed of five different
assemblies that all have different checks and balances. From top to bottom
there is the Executive Assembly, Administrative Assembly, Moderative
Assembly, Supervisory Assembly, and then the Common Assembly. So, let's run
over the basics of each one and see who is currently serving!
Executive Assembly - tasked with protecting and overseeing Asveora's core.
They are responsible for ensuring the network's security, stability, and
operation. They also make sure that the will of the populace is being
implemented exactly as the public wants by the Administrative Assembly. They
are the last line of defense and the guiding hand in reserve.

Administrative Assembly - Responsible for ensuring that the will of the populace is being implemented. They report any network functionality problems straight to the executive fold and act as the third line of defense.

Supervisory Assembly - The constant eyes and ears on the ground, reporting any potential issues to the Moderative Assembly. Any Asveoran can technically do what those in the Supervisory Assembly do (and it is encouraged!), but those in the Supervisory Assembly are tasked with doing what they do on a consistent basis and are mandated to report problems.

Common Assembly - The general populace of Asveora that the other assemblies serve on a regular basis. All Asveorans are a part of this assembly by default as it comes with the rights of their digital citizenship. This assembly holds the most power thanks to the democratically decentralized nature of Asveora. The people come first!
This is an index of recommended Matrix homeservers that have been vetted for their safety and authenticity. Not all matrix homservers are made equal of course. It is also possible to run your own Matrix homeserver! Instructions on doing so can be found here, but beware, it is quite sophisticated!
